Policies
PAYMENT
For new clients, full payment is required upon confirmation of the booking - dates for new clients will not be held without full payment. For established clients, full payment is required at least five days prior to the service start date. If payment is not made, the service will not take place. I accept payments through my Venmo goods and services account, @PheraiaPetCare.
CANCELLATIONS
In the event of a cancellation, please notify me ASAP! If you cancel within three days of the service start date, you will receive a 25% refund. If you cancel between four and seven days prior to the service start date, you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel 8 or more days prior to the service start date, you will receive a full refund. Cancellations due to extenuating circumstances outside of your control will also receive a full refund.
MINIMUM VISITS
If you will be out of town and requesting drop ins for dogs, I do require there to be at least three half-hour drop ins per day. This is my minimum standard of care, though at least three hour-long drop ins per day are advised.
MEET & GREETS AND INTAKE EVALUATION FORM
I require all of my potential clients to fill out my intake evaluation form, which can be found on the New Clients page, prior to our meet and greet, which is also required. The meet and greet must be hosted inside of your home with all animals that would be under my care present. If you would first like to meet up at a neutral location, like a dog park or coffee shop, that is perfectly fine and I'd be more than happy to do that. However, at some point during the meet and greet or perhaps even for a second meet and greet, I would need to have access to your home. Meet and greets are free.
CONTRACT & LIABILITY WAIVER
I require all of my clients to sign my Pet Care Contract prior to the service start date. It is linked below. There are multiple options as to how to return the signed copy to me:
As a PDF; send it to my e-mail, pheraiapetcare@gmail.com
As a hard copy in person at the meet and greet or key pick up
I do also bring hard copies of the contract to every meet and greet, so if you would just like to receive a hard copy then, that's perfectly fine!
Included in the contract is a clause that states that a liability waiver must be signed if there are to be any other persons on the property at the time of the service I will be providing. This supplemental waiver and its corresponding form, in which you can list who would be on the property during the service, are also linked below.
